UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens

Pete and I went to the UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens and had a picnic of baguette, tomato, avocado and chevre - YUM!. If you haven't ever been there, I suggest taking a trip soon. There are numerous plants in bloom right now, with exception to the roses in the "old rose garden" and the lotuses in the pond of course. The cactii in the desert portion are about to explode with color. I love to go there to relax, have a leisurely stroll and learn more stuff about plants. Sometimes I will draw if I am up to the challenge of drawing plant-life. Needless to say, I am really enjoying the spring!
