Happy Halloween

Last night we launched our new Rowan Morrison book, SCARECROW by Oakland artist John Casey. What fun! I'm proud of Pete and John and Paul, but I'm especially proud of my sparkly banner - the letters are freehand dude.

Mary's shirt matched John's art.

Some chick took a picture of her thighs.
On to last week - the MIND party:

Great sound, double kegger, missed connections...

Old Paul Wonner
New(er) Paul Wonner. Both were at Berggruen for Wonner's memorial show where I shook hands with Theophilus Brown (lucky day, but a bittersweet one too).

The abstraction and paint handling of this carpet is insane!
(name of painting escapes me, but I think it's either 17th or 18th century and is at the Legion of Honor)
my favorite shoe-maker, Twenty Two Shoes, saw the end of days this month. Apocalyptic to say the least. Above is my collection that I've amassed over the last three years will cling to forever.
Now we're off to Boston to celebrate the illustrious nuptuals of Julia Lamenzo (my sister) and James Fox.Labels: mind, scarecrow book
